Phases Men’s Fashion has been a shopping destination in Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise since the 80s. Owner Phil Smith opened the store in November 1987.

We have many customers that have been shopping with us for over 20 years. Phil still works at the shop 6 days and attends various fashion showings several times a year to hand-select all his stock.

Part of the success of Phases Men’s Fashion is that Phil and his team know their customers, their needs and preferences. As soon as they walk in our staff can determine what size and style their return customers are looking for.

Justine proudly says “we are more a personal shopping consultant rather then just a sales person.”

At Phases Men’s Fashion we cater for all shapes and sizes and we always make sure to order plenty of the not so common sizes. All of the team are trained in fittings so the garments are sure to fit perfectly!

Most alterations will be completed within 24 hours.

Phil began working in the fashion industry in the mid seventies training at a Melbourne fashion house. After then working in London for several years he returned to the Gold Coast. In 1982 he opened Phases Men’s Fashion in Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise and is still there nearly 40 years later. Phil is still as passionate about helping men look great as he was all those years ago when he opened up shop!

Justine has worked at Phases for more than 20 years and shares her passion for fashion with each and every customer. Justine provides exceptional and personal service to ensure your purchase is perfectly fitted and looks great. She recently helped Phil launch a new range of womens lines to the store which has exceeded everyone's expectations.  "We have so many ladies come to the store shopping for their man, it only made sense to offer a matching range of high end womens lines so the girls look great as well!" said Justine.
